Utopia

   I think utopias are bad. Because with utopias you have strict rules! The more rules you have the easier it is to have utopias. But the less fun your community is. Like when the Giver was telling Jonas, how they used to have more freedom. They had colors and animals and music. But the community wasn't as stable. To have a utopia they had to take those things away.
   Like I was saying in the fist paragraph, a utopia wouldn't be as fun as a normal town. Because a utopia has more rules. You have practicly no freedom. But in a normal community you would have more fun. You can chooose your job, go out to dinner and even just have a car. You can read. There are just so many more things to do!
   Love makes things super complicated! But it is so worth it! In this community you couldn't even choose your own spouse! You just get pared up with someone according to your personalitys. That's horrible! But to have a utopia I guess you would have to take that away. And that is very sad! In the book when Jonas asked if they loved him they bascily said no! I would be devistated if my parents said that to me!
